The Paul Lynde Halloween Special

Broadcast October 29, 1976 on ABC, The Paul Lynde Halloween Special was probably the first time a super flaming homosexual had his own TV Special... and maybe the last?  Besides Paul Lynde, the show featured Betty White, KISS, Donny and Marie, Tim Conway, Florence Henderson.

Margaret Hamilton reprised her role as the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz for the first time since making the classic film in 1939.

Billie Hayes appeared on the special as her character Witchiepoo from the cult 70's kid show, H.R. Pufnstuf.

The show is so bad it's impossible to look away; not unlike a car crash. Filled with corny jokes, bad musical numbers and lots of uncomfortable guest stars, The Paul Lynde Halloween Special is a must see. Watch the whole special, if you dare!
